We pay our coxswains $19 to 14$ but

this includes hardly any night work. The coxswains of the

large Chinese owned launches in the harbour get anything up to $25 smaller ones ranging from $16 to $22 according

to size. I should say that $20 is not too much for a real-

ly good man, taking into consideration the night work

involved. At the same time if you pay your cozsvains

that sum, I am sure we shall have trouble with ours.
